You can learn a lot about the night market by checking it out on Instagram.

The market is the largest Asian market to take place in the United States. The trend is common in Taiwan; the market’s founder Jonny Hwang brought the tradition over to California. To fully experience the night market, you’ll want to taste many of the different food items sold there. The possibilities are endless. Think of it as a tapas bar and sample some of everything. Small plates are usually about $2 and larger portions are $4.

You’ll find a myriad of Asian foods at the market. Chicken wings, duck tacos, fried potato spirals on sticks, ramen burgers, meat and veggies on skewers, tofu, sausages, pancakes, squid, pork belly, korean bbq burgers, sweet potato tots in a waffle cone, steak fries, pho…the possibilities are endless. If you have a sweet tooth, check out the jellies, shaved ice, boba tea, gourmet Belgian waffles on a stick, churros, macarons, etc. You never know what you’ll find.
